Join us to discover and learn all about the key communications requirements and techniques required to run a successful BID ballot campaign. 

During a BID development or renewal in the lead up to your ballot, all BIDs go through a campaign stage. This course will assist you with the knowledge and tactics you need to help you create:

  • A campaign message and slogan;
  • A communications plan and what you need to consider including;
  • Tips for a successful social media plan and;
  • Advice on how to deal with local media


Communications is vital for BIDs during and preparing for their ballot. A succinct plan, message, strategy and campaign is essential to your success.


This course will help you to understand why and how best to campaign to the expectations of your levy payers, increasing the potential for the all-important 'yes' vote.
