A guide to the BID Business Plan Criteria

Thursday 19th November, 10.30am - 1pm

Writing a compelling business plan is no easy task, particularly following the events of Covid-19 and the effects this has had on businesses.

British BIDs' Business Plan Criteria captures vital national levy payer perspectives, and identifies what information they expect to see in a business plan if they are to support it at ballot.

What is the key role of the BID in helping your town / city recover? What has the BID's response to Covid-19 been? What are the immediate and longer term business needs? It is crucial that your business plan highlights the increased value of BIDs and these are just some of the questions that need to be considered when writing a business plan.

National levy payers in many of our towns and cities play a major role in supporting and sustaining BIDs, and their levy payments are an important part of the national investment in town centres.

Since Covid-19, we are aware that business plans need to change to highlight the increased value of BIDs at this crucial time.

This 2.5 hour course, led by our Chief Executive, Chris Turner, will cover all of the above and much more in a detailed workshop with all the aspects required to ensure that your business plan covers everything that a levy payer would expect to see.

This course is aimed at BID managers and senior staff.
