Renewal ballots in a post-COVID-19 world

Thursday 8th October, 10:30am - 1:00pm

Running a BID ballot at any time can be confusing and highly technical – “when do I serve the required notices….what do the council need….how do I decide upon my levy rules?” are just some of the normal questions.

But, if your ballot is due prior to March 31st 2021, not only do you have changes to the Regulations as a result of the Coronavirus Act to contend with, but the landscape to which you return and the expectations of your levy payers after the economic shock that COVID-19 will cause, will simply add to the task of maintaining your BID.

In this 2.5 hour online course, we will cover the legal requirements, issues of timing of the ballot and tactics to gain the support that you will need.

This course is aimed at BID managers, Directors, and senior staff.
